Technical Specifications
Hardened at 899°C (1650°F). It is then quenched in oil followed by tempering. The cutting edge of cutting tools can be hardened by heating and quenching in order to maintain the toughness of the steel. - Hot worked at 94 to 483°C (200 to 900°F) - 372 to 705°C (700 to 1300°F). It has Rockwell C 55 hardness. - Annealed at 899°C (1650°F) followed by slowly cooling in the furnace. |
