Technical Specifications

Hardened at 899ยฐC (1650ยฐF). It is then quenched in oil followed by tempering. The cutting edge of cutting tools can be hardened by heating and quenching in order to maintain the toughness of the steel. - Hot worked at 94 to 483ยฐC (200 to 900ยฐF) - 372 to 705ยฐC (700 to 1300ยฐF). It has Rockwell C 55 hardness. - Annealed at 899ยฐC (1650ยฐF) followed by slowly cooling in the furnace.
