Our 2.875″ x .25″ heavy wall telescoping square tube is the newest size in Alcobra’s lineup up 6061T6 heavy wall tube sizes. Its unique specifications make it particularly useful for applications that require both strength and adjustability.
Like our other heavy wall options, the 2.875″ x .25″ wall tube is extruded in 6061T6 aluminum. This alloy is prized for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and versatility. Additionally, this alloy is ideal for heavy-duty structural or industrial applications.
Designed to fit with other sizes
The key feature of our 2.875″ telescoping tube is its compatibility with our other large telescoping sizes. This tube fits perfectly within our 3.43″ x .25″ telescoping tube, which in turn fits inside our 4″ x .25″ tube.
By having a third size of heavy wall telescoping tube, it is now possible to create heavy-duty telescoping assemblies that will compact into smaller structures.
