Thank you for coming to our open house event

We would like to thank everyone who came to see us during our open house event on June 7.

About 200 people popped by to enjoy some classic cars, BBQ, and to experience our new warehouse and showroom.

What a blessing it is to have a wonderful community of enthusiastic, supportive customers. Some of the best welders, fabricators, and machinists from the local area were in attendance. It was a true gift to hear them sharing stories, making connections, and celebrating the manufacturing community all of us have fostered here in Spokane.

Special thanks to Backlund Metalworks for setting up and leading welding tutorials throughout the day. It was a delight seeing so many people learn how to weld for the very first time, or improve their craft under the Backlund team’s expert tutelage with the stainless steel kits they prepared for this event. Special shout out to Andrew Backlund for bringing his father’s beautiful Ford GT for everyone to see.

We would also like to thank everyone who was willing to bring their classic vehicle by. There is a bit of a street rod culture around here, and we love getting the chance to share that passion. There were cars from as far away as Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and others similarly drove many hours to be here.

Finally, thank you to all of the Alcobra staff who took some time from their busy weekends to be here and help make it all happen. Each of you possess unique skills and talents that make Alcobra one of the most unique metal service centers in the Pacific Northwest. We could not do it without you.
